On the interwebs, there’s a literal plethora of options when it comes down to sales enablement and presentation options. I should know because I get spammed with emails from review sites on the daily.
How are you supposed to choose between so many, and how do you know that you’re getting your money’s worth?
Some are free, some aren’t. Some SEEM to be free, but whoops - you can only access some of the features on the free version and now you've spent all your time building a feature you can't use. Sucked in!
We get a lot of questions asking if we have different pricing options, or premium versions or what you get with the free trial. Well the short answers are Yes/No/Everything you could ever dream.
But now I’ll go through the long answers.
Showcase pricing structure.
Unlike a lot of big conglomerates, we do not have a pay for features structure. Our pricing structure is incredibly simple and we base it on your total users.
It’s split into three categories; Small, Medium, and Enterprise.
SMALL:
If you have a small user base, this is for you. If you’ve got 1-50 users then you pay $20USD per user. Simple as.
Small accounts pay monthly via credit card or you can arrange an annual payment via invoice.
That includes unlimited showcases, file uploads, free training over live video, and phone support from our team. Everything - there are no Showcase features that you won’t have access to!
If your team is over 20 users and you'd like a monthly invoice, you can apply for Manual Billing at the link next to the 'Setup Credit Card' button. Fill in the details and one of our friendly Money Nerds will get back to you with a confirmation.
MEDIUM:
If you’re a tad bigger than the small group, then you are classed as Medium. Accounts with 51 users and more are charged at $15USD per user. Savings, woohoo!
This type of account is paid via monthly invoice.
Yet again - you still get all the perks and inclusions of Showcase.
ENTERPRISE:
This last option is for our larger than life friends. Accounts with 101+ users are charged at $10USD per user.
But, additionally this subscriptions comes with Unlimited free users beyond 445 users AND a billing cap applies at $6200 per month + tax. In plain terms - add as many users as you like over 445 and you won’t pay for them!
All levels of accounts get the same showcase access - there are no hidden features, no premium version, and no hierarchy between users. Nice one.
Adding/removing users
As you can see from the above explanation of the different scales of subscriptions, a lot of customers fluctuate with users going up and down regularly.
So if you pay monthly per user - what happens with adding and removing users?
You can add and remove people at any point, as many times as you like.
If you add or remove a user part way through a month, you pay a pro-rated amount based on how long out of the month they were a user. So you can rest assured that you don't have to pay a full month fee for a user that is only there for a little while.
The users will be reflected on your next invoice as a partial payment.
Terms and Conditions
The nitty gritty, the whats what, the fine print. You can read all of our Terms & Conditions here on our website and you're welcome to chat to us about any parts of this and ask questions!
Here are the basics:
-
We understand that you may want to have Showcase on your computer, your phone and your tablet - so we allow up to 3 devices per user account.
-
By signing up, you agree to our conditions that each user has their own account. A Showcase User is defined as any person who has access to any of the Services by way of a log in and password - so account sharing goes against the terms of use. It's only fair!
The Free Trial
In our eyes, a free trial is there so you can experience everything a company or service has to offer so you know how to use it and if you like it and most importantly, if it fits your needs before you sign on the dotted line and hand over your wallet.
There's no real point in having trials that don't accurately emulate exactly what you get when you sign up, is there?
Our free trial is exactly the same as having a paid account. It lasts for 2 weeks so you have heaps of time to play about, have some trial and error and make sure it has all the features that you need going forth. Honestly, there's nothing more annoying than paying for a months worth of something and on day 3 realising it's completely different to what you need and then you're stuck with it for another 27 days.
You don't even need to input a credit card to open a free trial with us, so once your trial is over we won't start automatically taking money from you.
That's the basic overview of Showcase and our pricing and user structure. Showcase has customers all over the world - That means we have invented a tool that really works; it’s reliable and easy to use. And we’re very proud of it.
Effective and straight to the point - no mucking around here at Showcase! Get in touch with us at info@showcaseworkshop.com if you'd like to chat about anything I've mentioned here, or you just want to hear more info about your current subscription.
Happy Showcasing!
